Science Department

Research Assistant


Job Description

  • Carry-out research on biomaterials and environmental science topics.

  • Perform processing and refinement of biomaterials such as silk, proteins, chitin, chitosan, etc.

  • Conduct a mini literature review on relevant topics.

  • Report to Biochemistry Research Program Coordinator.

  • Assist with a hands-on science outreach program.

  • Teach a limited number of chemistry classes to secondary students if needed.
